Hey, hey, girl: I've been thinking about you and wondering how you're doing, so I googled your name to see if maybe you'd joined the blog world, and yep, you have! The kids have gotten HUGE, and Daniel looks like a little boy not a toddler anymore. Noel is so cute. You'll have to post some pix of the older girls as well.
How are your classes going? Next year is your last year, right? (Sorry, I've lost track). I hope that things are going well for you.
What happened with the divorce and custody arrangements? Have those been finalized? And what are the older girls up to? How are they doing in school?
I hung bird feeders this year, and we're enjoying watching the birds and squirrels. I set up a small business last year to sell potted plants -- we'll see if it's successful this summer. Jim is volunteering at the Red Cross and doing a lot of work distributing food. It's really sad for him to see so many people lined up and waiting for food to feed their families. It's a very tough time for so many people. We increased our fast offering, and I'm looking into whether I have the money and time to prepare a meal for one of our local homeless shelters once a month.
Jim and I are so blessed. We have each other, a roof over our heads, health care insurance, and a cash flow. All temporal things, of course, but it's also a blessing to have the gospel in our lives and to know that there's something beyond what we have here on this earth.
